Adam started working as a kennel associate because of his passion for animals. He has since become a primary patient care technician, a team member at the Park location, and even the occasional receptionist. He is eager to learn and enjoys the time he gets to spend with our patients.
He graduated from Deland High School in 2018, and is dual enrolled at Daytona State. He enjoys science and would like to continue his education in veterinary medicine and physics. Adam enjoys running, traveling, going to theme parks, and spending time with friends and family. He is a ringer on the trivia team with his vast movie and music knowledge.
Adam and his family are originally from Connecticut. They have 2 cats and 2 dogs, including a new puppy that likes to eat things she’s not supposed to!
Briana is a graduate from DeLand High School, Seminole State College, and is currently attending the Daytona State nursing program.
At Countryside, Briana enjoys assisting the doctors and interacting with clients. She has a love for all types of animals, including reptiles and rodents. Briana’s furry family includes 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 horses, a bearded dragon and a hand-raised squirrel.
Briana was born and raised in Florida and enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, kayaking, and horseback riding. She was even featured in the Florida Sportsman Magazine.
Originally from North Carolina, Carolyn was an experienced technician when she joined our care team. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina and she graduated from NC State with a Master's degree in Animal Science.
At Countryside, Carolyn works closely assisting the doctors and with her techncian team as a trainer. She also assists with surgery, dentals, and inventory management. She enjoys client education, particularly pet nutrition.
Outside of Countryside she also works at her parents' business the Family Bookstore and cares for their diabetic cat Ink that lives there. She also enjoys spending time with her 2 horses, reading, and working out at Crossfit. Her love of all things nerdy including Star Trek, Marvel comics, and Star Wars makes her an excellent addition to the Countryside trivia team.
We are so happy to welcome Cassie back to Countryside Animal Clinic! She has always loved working with animals and has also worked in pharmacology. Cassie has worked in the veterinary field for more than 15 years and has an AA degree from Daytona State College.
At Countryside, Cassie enjoys working in all areas of the hospital. She wears many hats as a receptionist, lab tech, surgical assistant, and dental technician.
Originally from Osteen, Cassie and her husband now live in Pierson with their daughter, 2 horses, 3 dogs, a rabbit, and fish. She enjoys barrel racing, horseback riding, hunting, and boating with her family. Speaking of family, Cassie works alongside her sister Stacie, sisters-in-law Holly and Shelby, and their mom Janie is the head kennel associate at Camp Countryside!
Colton is literally part of the Countryside family, his mom, Terri, works in reception. He started working in the kennel when he was in high school, and now works as a laboratory technician, surgery assistant, and dental tech. Colton is an asset to our staff at both locations.
Colton was raised in Georgia and Florida, but he’s Georgia Bulldogs fan. He graduated from Deland High School where he was active in sports including swimming and baseball. He also bowled with the Countryside bowling team. Colton is enrolled at Daytona State and is working towards his Associate’s Degree.
Colton is very close to his family, he enjoys spending time with his parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews. He lives in Deland with friends and his rescue dogs Roadie and Rylee. He likes going to the beach, concerts, Cross Fit, and sporting events.
Hailee was born and raised in Deland where she lives with her family, dog, cats, chickens, horses, and gecko. She graduated from Deland High School, during her senior year she started her dual enrollment at Daytona State for her biology degree. She currently attends nursing school full time. Hailee’s hobbies include horseback riding, visiting theme parks, going to the beach, fishing, and spending time with her friends and family.
She visited the Countryside with her pets, she loved the environment and had an interest in working with animals, so her friends employed at Countryside urged her to apply. Hailee started as a caring kennel technician at Camp Countryside and has since started assisting the doctors for appointments and running laboratory tests. She enjoys working at Countryside, helping her co-workers, and learning new things.
Jamie joined the Countryside kennel staff and quickly found her niche as a receptionist and veterinary technician. She has worked in veterinary clinics for 3 years and enjoys seeing the different personalities of each pet. Jamie has an A.S. in Business Administration from Seminole State College and continues to pursue her Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
Jamie is a born and raised Floridian. She has a big family that includes a pitbull, mastiff puppy, jack russell, 4 cats, and a conure. She enjoys watching movies, going to the beach, and spending time with her dogs.
Jenna was working in a boarding kennel when she fell in love with the idea of learning more as a technician and having an impact on patient's lives.
Originally from update New York. Jenna graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Human Service.
Jenna enjoys the family atmosphere of Countryside. She feels at home with her Countryside family and clients. She has a positive attitude, a love for animals, and can always make the best out of a bad situation. Jenna's favorite part of working at Countryside is making this the best experience for your pets.
In her spare time, Jenna enjoys spending time with her chunky cat Tiller, kayaking, and boating.
There is a reason Katelyn has earn the nickname "Smiles" from her Countryside co-workers. She enjoys working with patients, especially Aussies, as an assistant to the doctors and running laboratory tests.
Katelyn graduated from DeLand High School where she showed livestock for FFA. She lives in DeLand with her family and her dog Flynn. In her spare time she enjoys going to the beach, Cross Fit, kayaking, traveling with friends, and horseback riding.
Sarah grew up in Deltona and attended Deland High School. She was originally in the mentor program with Dr. Bryson when she attended Stetson University. She graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with minors in Chemistry and Biology.
Sarah is known for snuggling all the kitties that come to Countryside, but she loves all animals including dogs, cats, pigs, and bearded dragons. Getting to work with animals has always been her dream, so every day at work is like a dream come true!
Sarah and her husband, an air traffic controller, wed and bought a home in Deland in 2014. They also recently welcomed a baby girl into their family. Sarah is the resident cat lover, she personally has 8 rescue kitties. Her passion for travel has landed her a second job as a travel agent. She enjoys shopping, swimming, diving, reading, karate, and kickboxing.
Formerly a radiology technician, Shelby joins Countryside after working in doctor’s offices for 3 years after she graduated from Kaiser University. She has always wanted to work with animals and she expressed how lucky she feels to have this opportunity to work with your pets.
Shelby has a strong passion for saving animals and brings that drive with her to work every day. As a member of our technician team, she enjoys working side-by-side with patients during their treatments and recovery. Seeing them go home happy and healthy is her favorite part of the job.
In her spare time, Shelby enjoys spending time with her family and many fur babies. She likes being out on the boat and riding horses. Her new husband works in forestry. She is Countryside family in more ways than one, she is now the daughter-in-law to the kennel manager Janie (and her sisters-in-law Cassie, Stacie, and Holly are also Countryside crew)!
Stacie is not the first of her family to work at Countryside, she works along side her mom, sister, and 2 sisters-in-law. She has worked as a technician for many years in Florida and Ohio before joining the Countryside team.
Originally from New York, Tanesha says getting a job at Countryside was “pure luck.” She loves her job and is excited to come to work everyday to help patients. She has taken CNA and medical courses, and is CPR certified. Tanesha has been married for 14 years and has 2 kids. Her daughter, Gaby, worked part time at Camp Countryside before moving to New York for college. Her son Gavin has also followed in the family footsteps as a kennel technician. They have a zoo of animals including 2 dogs, 4 cats, and goats. Tanesha enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and reading.
